While deep in the underbelly of advertising, I stumbled upon this man on a stock footage site. I spent a long time with him. Too long. I grappled with the meaning of his life, scene by scene, until the puzzle finally clicked and his truth was revealed. The result was this film—an ode to stock footage and a somewhat autobiographical creation. It premiered at Fantasia Festival and got a Vimeo Staff Pick. Success.
